Title: ●Landing Gear Mechanism and Pilot Compartment View
Abstract: This rulemaking would harmonize U.S. and European Aviation Safety Agency standards for landing gear retracting mechanisms and pilot compartment view. The rulemaking would require landing gear and doors be kept in the correct retracted position in flight, and revise the requirements for pilot compartment view to account for conditions during precipitation. This action is intended to eliminate regulatory differences between U.S. and European aviation standards.
