Title: Pilot Loading of Aeronautical Database Upgrades 
Abstract: This rulemaking would no longer define loading data by pilots into navigation, terrain awareness and surface databases as preventive maintenance. This action would aid in the timely replacement of databases that may expire on or after their applicable date of use. The intended effect would improve aviation safety by ensuring data is available to the flightcrew at all times.
