Abstract:
This rulemaking would adjust maximum civil penalties imposed on violations of the Commercial Space Launch Act of 1984 as amended by the Commercial Space Launch Amendments Act of 2004. Under the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990 as amended by the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996 the FAA is statutorily required to conduct rulemaking every 4 years to adjust its maximum civil penalty amounts for inflation. |
