Title: ●Aircraft Registration and Recordation Procedural Updates: Original Documents and Stamping 
Abstract:

In December 2022, the FAA’s Civil Aviation Registry deployed the Civil Aviation Registry Electronic Services (CARES). By September 2025 CARES will be fully deployed and replace the Registry Modernization Services as the system of record. Current regulations are causing inefficiencies and will create additional inefficiencies after CARES becomes the system of record. This rulemaking will eliminate these inefficiencies that are linked to regulations requiring customers to submit original documents and requiring the Registry to stamp documents after they are received from customers.
