Title: ●Value Engineering
Abstract: This rulemaking would amend 23 CFR part 627 to implement changes made to 23 USC 106 by section 1904 of SAFETEA-LU. This rulemaking will also specify when a Value Engineering analysis is required for bridge projects, address opportunities when an analysis could be conducted during the planning, development, and construction of projects, and address changes in industry practices regarding methods to conduct Value Engineering studies.
