Title: Brokers of Household Goods Transportation by Motor Vehicle 
Abstract: This rulemaking would implement section 4209 of SAFETEA-LU concerning brokers of household goods shipments who make estimates of the costs of transporting household goods before entering into an agreement with a motor carrier to provide the transportation services. The rulemaking would also address the American Moving and Storage Association´s petition for rulemaking concerning the role and responsibility of brokers in household goods shipments.
