Title: Medical Certification Requirements as Part of the Commercial Driver's License (CDL); Technical, Organizational, and Conforming Amendments 
Abstract: The FMCSA amends its December 1, 2008 final rule implementing section 215 of the Motor Carrier Safety Improvement Act of 1999 (MCSIA). This amendment makes changes to title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations. The purpose of this rule is both to make amendments responding to petitions for reconsideration and to make technical corrections to an FMCSA regulation. Accordingly, notice and an opportunity for public comment on these changes are not necessary.
