Title: Motorcoach Lap/Shoulder Seat Belts(Section 610 Review) 
Abstract:

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration proposes to amend the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations to require all over-the-road buses manufactured on or after November 28, 2016, and other buses with a gross vehicle weight rating greater than 26,000 pounds and manufactured during the same timeframe to be equipped with lap/shoulder seat belts in accordance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 208 accommodating each passenger seating position, with certain exclusions. This rule will be a companion rule to the final rule published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's final rule published in November 2013.
