Abstract:

In response to several petitions for reconsideration, FMCSA would propose amending the time limit for the automatic emergency relief exception for regional declarations of emergency, revert back to the 30-day limit which existed prior to the issuance of the October 2023 final rule (88 FR 70897) (RIN 2126-AC53).
