Title: Tubeless Tire Resistance to Bead Unseating Test Procedure  
Abstract: This rulemaking would respond to a petition received from the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) requesting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration revise or update the procedure required by the bead unseating resistance test for tires in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 109, New Pneumatic and Certain Specialty Tires. The RMA proposed referencing the ASTM International F2663-07a test method in the FMVSS No.109.
