Title: Establish Side Impact Performance Requirements for Child Restraint Systems (MAP-21) 
Abstract:

This rulemaking, if finalized, would include side impact performance requirements, a side impact test procedure, and the use of a new side impact dummy in FMVSS No. 213, "Child restraint systems," to evaluate the performance of child restraint systems in side impacts. This rulemaking is mandated by MAP-21.
