Title: Automotive Fuel Economy Reports: Allowing Electronic Submission of Reports 
Abstract:

This rulemaking would enable automakers, engine manufacturers, trailer manufacturers, and other parties regulated by the light-, medium-, and heavy-duty fuel economy programs to submit their required reports to NHTSA in an electronic format. NHTSA is currently developing an updated fuel economy database to allow for manufacturers to submit their fuel economy reports electronically through a Web site or via email.
