Title: ●Revisions to Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Regulations Implementing the National Environmental Policy Act  
Abstract:

FHWA, FRA, and FTA are seeking to modify the regulations implementing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) found at 23 CFR 771 that apply to all three agencies to reform and streamline environmental review of surface transportation projects. The substantive changes would expand opportunities for efficient environmental reviews and modernize certain procedures to align with the current realities of surface transportation projects.
