Abstract: This rulemaking would make corrections to the final rule "Revision to Requirements for Transportation of Batteries and Battery-powered Devices; and Harmonization with the UN Recommendations, International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Technical Instructions" that was published on January 14, 2009 (74 FR 2200), under RIN 2137-AE31. Corrections are made to spelling and grammatical errors and to units of measure; other corrections include a revision to the ICAO incorporation by reference entry to update the address and corrections to various UN numbers by removing the space between "UN" and the numbers that follow. This rulemaking only corrects errors in the January 14 final rule and does not impose any new requirements.
