| Abstract: This final rule would revise the regulations pertaining to the Integrity Management Program (IMP) for Gas Distribution Pipelines which were recently added via the Distribution IMP rule (published on December 4, 2009, 74 FR 63906). This final rule would clarify the extent of pipeline fittings involved in the compression coupling failure information collection; change the term from "compression coupling" to "mechanical fitting"; and revise the key dates for the collection and submission of mechanical fitting failure information. | |
