Title: ●Removal of Rules Transferred to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (FR-5788) 
Abstract:

HUD is removing its regulations previously authorized under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act of 1974, the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008, and the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act. Responsibility for administration of these statutes, including authority to issue regulations was transferred to the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau on July 21, 2011 pursuant to Title X of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Accordingly, HUD regulations are no longer operative, and are being removed by this final rule.
