| Title: ●Streamlining the Direct Endorsement Pre-Endorsement Review Process (FR-6579) | |
|
Abstract:
This interim final rule realigns HUD regulations with current operational priorities by converting HUD’s pre-endorsement review of each case binder submitted under the Direct Endorsement (DE) Program from a mandatory requirement to a discretionary process. This change allows HUD to better allocate staff time to post-endorsement reviews and other quality assurance activities with greater risk mitigation benefits. |
