Title: HOME Investment Partnerships Program: Program Updates and Streamlining (FR-6144) 
Abstract:

HUD's HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME program) provides formula grants to States and units of local government to fund a wide range of activities directed to producing or maintaining affordable housing, both homeownership and rental housing. This final rule revises the existing HOME program regulations to streamline or modernize certain project requirements, including those related to Community Housing Development Organizations, property standards applicable to homebuyer acquisition projects, small scale rental housing projects, community land trusts, homebuyer resale, and allowable rents for units receiving rental assistance.
