Title: ●Expanding agreement types to competitively acquired property (FR-6564)
Abstract:

This regulatory action would expand the permitted actions that can occur prior to an environmental review to include property acquisition and leasing without the use of HUD funds in 24 CFR part 50 and 24 CFR part 58. At present, 24 CFR 58.22(d) only allows grantees to establish an option agreement to acquire property. This rule will expand available agreement structures for property acquisitions.
