Title: Elections of Improved Pension; Old-Law and Section 306 Pension 
Abstract: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is reorganizing and rewriting in plain language provisions applicable to elections of improved pension and "old-law" and "section 306" pension programs. These revisions are a part of VA's rewrite and reorganization of all of its compensation and pension rules in a logical, claimant-focused, and user-friendly format. The intended effect of the revisions is to assist claimants, beneficiaries, and VA personnel in locating and understanding these rules.
