Title: ●Termination of Phase-In Period for Concurrent Receipt of Military Retired Pay and Veterans Disability Pay (CRDP) Based on VA Determination of Individual Unemployability 
Abstract: Based on the National Defense Authorization Act of 2008, Public Law 110-181, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) amends its regulations by removing language that describes a phase-in period ending September 30, 2009, revising and redesignating paragraphs to clarify the conditions for veterans who are eligible to receive military retired pay and disability compensation based on a VA determination of IU is effective December 31, 2004. Any retroactive benefits due are payable on January 1, 2005. In addition, the rulemaking clarifies that a waiver of military retired pay is not at issue for this group of veterans.
