| Title: Office of Information and Technology--Scholarships and Debt Reduction Program | |
| Abstract: This document proposes to establish a scholarship program for recruiting individuals for Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) employment who are pursuing a doctoral degree in computer science, or electrical or computer engineering at an accredited institution of higher education. This document also proposes to establish a debt reduction program to help retain VA employees who already have such a degree. The proposed rule would implement certain provisions of title IX of the Veterans Benefits, Health Care, and Information Technology Act of 2006. | |
