Title: Clothing Allowance 
Abstract: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposes to amend its adjudication regulations regarding clothing allowances. The amendment will clarify current provisions regarding annual clothing allowances and allow more than one allowance when the Secretary determines that use of multiple qualifying prosthetic or orthopedic appliances or physician-prescribed medications for skin conditions, either hastens wear and tear on the veteran's clothing or causes irreparable damage to the veteran’s outer garments.
