Title: ●Medical Foster Homes 
Abstract: This document proposes to amend the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical regulations to add rules relating to medical foster homes. Currently, VA’s medical foster home program, whenever possible and appropriate, relies upon existing regulations that govern community residential care facilities; however, these existing regulations do not adequately or appropriately cover all aspects of medical foster homes, which provide community based care in a smaller, residential facility. The proposed rules reflect current VA policy and practice, and generally conform to industry standards and expectations.
