| Title: ●Dental Program | |
|
Abstract:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposes to amend its regulations governing the provision of dental services to veterans. VA provides four levels of dental care: dental examination only, focused dental care to treat a single condition, comprehensive dental care, and emergency dental care. We propose to update the regulations to better explain VA’s dental program by using plain and concise language, eliminate out-of-date provisions, and improve the organizational structure. The changes to these regulations would not change the dental care benefits to which veterans are currently entitled. VA also proposes a number of technical revisions to its regulations to conform to authorizing statutes, and to remove outdated or redundant provisions. |
