Title: ●National Service Life Insurance Implementation of VALife, Faster Payments to Survivors Act, Paperwork Reduction Act, and Insurance Modernization Improvements 
Abstract:

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposes to define a valid claim for purposes of the VALife program, clarify interpretation of alternate beneficiary, definition of a child, order a precedence in faster payments to Survivor’s Act of 2022, clarify the requirements for using VA-approved forms in order to receive pay benefits and eliminate the non-medical reinstatement process.  These amendments are in accordance with the President’s priorities that improve service delivery, customer experience, and reduce administrative burdens for those accessing public benefits and services.
