Abstract:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is proposing to amend its regulation concerning fees that may be charged by accredited agents and attorneys to ensure consistency with recent court decisions regarding limitations on charging fees and clarify when VA will honor requests for direct payment of fees from the claimant or appellant’s past-due benefits. |
