Title: Waiver or Recovery of Overpayments 
Abstract:

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) amends its Veteran Readiness and Employment and Education Program regulations to ensure that a school, instead of the student, is financially responsible for any overpayments paid directly to the school on behalf of the student. These amendments implement section 1019 of the Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020, which was effective January 5, 2021.
