Title: ●Payment Authority for Care Outside of Network  
Abstract:

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposes to add a regulation that would govern VA's payment for care and services furnished by a provider in the community who is not a party to a contract, agreement, or other arrangement with VA when VA considers such care or services necessary in the course of furnishing care and services pursuant to a contract, agreement, or other arrangement.
