| Title: ●Streamlining the Application Process for Grants for Adaptive Sports Programs for Disabled Veterans and Disabled Members of the Armed Forces | |
|
Abstract:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposes to amend its regulations that govern grants for adaptive sports programs for disabled veterans and disabled members of the armed forces to remove the section that allows applicants to amend an application after the application deadline has been reached; remove the section that allows applications for noncompetitive adaptive sports grants; add a new section on appropriate actions VA may take to enforce this part; and add related definitions. These changes will align the regulations with Federal requirements governing grant programs and streamline the application process. |
