| Title: ●Establishing Processes and Procedures for Reevaluating Clinical Determinations in the Veterans Health Administration | |
|
Abstract:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposes to create new regulations to establish procedural requirements for reviewing disagreements with Veterans Health Administration (VHA) clinical decisions, certain determinations within the Caregiver Support Program, and community care eligibility determinations. The proposed regulations would revise and formalize existing policy and practice, address existing gaps, and standardize processes. The primary purpose of these proposed regulations is to promote transparency and procedural consistency for our nation’s veterans and others. |
