| Title: ●Expanding State Home Grant Programs to Include Indian Tribes | |
|
Abstract:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposes to amend its regulations regarding State Home programs to permit Indian tribes to apply for State Home construction grants to build State homes; allow these homes to be eligible for approval as State homes for purposes of per diem payments; and support the hiring and retention of nurses in such State homes. These revisions would make the regulations consistent with current law and provide greater support for Indian veterans. |
