Abstract:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposes to amend its regulations to implement section 302 of the Elizabeth Dole Act, which requires VA to provide assistance to States and Indian Tribes to carry out programs that improve covered outreach and assistance to veterans and spouses, children, and parents, to ensure that such individuals are fully informed about, and assisted in applying for, any veterans-related benefits and programs (including veterans programs of a State or Indian Tribe) for which they may be eligible. |
