Title: ●Accessible Design Standards for Universal Changing Tables
Abstract: The FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024 directs the U.S. Access Board to issue by May 2026, "comprehensive accessible design standards for universal changing tables" and "standards on the privacy, accessibility, and sanitation equipment of the room in which such table is located, required to be installed, or maintained."49 U.S.C. 47107(y). These standards will be applicable to medium or large hub airports seeking airport development project grants as described in 49 U.S.C. 47107.
