Title: Electronic Recordkeeping Requirements Applicable to Futures Commission Merchants, Introducing Brokers, and Members of a Contract Market  
Abstract: The Commission is considering the issuance of proposed amendments relating to the recordkeeping requirements of CFTC registrants and large traders under regluations 1.31 and 1.35. Such proposed amendments would explicitly apply certain record retention and production requirements to e-mails, instant messages, and other forms of digital or electronic written communication and recorded oral communications. UPDATE: THIS MATTER IS BEING WITHDRAWN BECAUSE IT IS BEING INCORPORATED INTO THE NEW RIN 3038-AC96 ENTITLED "BUSINESS CONDUCT STANDARDS-INTERNAL"
