Title: Amendments to the Commission’s Reporting Rules  
Abstract: Information provided pursuant to the reporting rules serve as the foundation of the Commission’s surveillance programs. The Commission is considering amendments to its reporting rules to permit for or further facilitate the filing of electronic Forms 40, 102, and 04s reports. In addition, the Commission may propose amendments to improve the information reported on Form 40. For example, a revised Form 40 could better classify trading activities and, along with other amendments, provide greater clarity with respect to the reporting of positions on an aggregated basis. UPDATE: THIS ITEM IS BEING WITHDRAWN BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN INCORPORATED INTO THE COMMISSION'S POSITION LIMITS RULEMAKING
