| Title: Privacy Rules for CFTC Regulated Entities Under the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act | |
| Abstract: Section 1093 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act contains amendments to section 504(a) of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLB Act), which sets out certain privacy protections for nonpublic, consumer information. The CFTC will issue final rules implementing section 504(a), as well as amend part 160 of its regulations to cover new entities that are subject to the CFTC's jurisdiction under title VII of the Dodd-Frank Act. | |
