Abstract: Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Act requires that the CFTC and SEC, in consultation with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, jointly further define the terms: 1) "Swap", "security-based swap", and "security-based swap agreement"; 2) prescribe regulations mixed swaps; and 3) adopt regulations governing books and records with respect to security-based swap agreements
