| Title: ●Derivatives Clearing Organizations: Requirements for Processing, Clearing, and Transfer of Customer Positions | |
| Abstract: Proposed regulations would establish a time frame for submission of contracts, agreements, and transactions to a derivatives clearing organization for clearing, and standards for prompt and efficient processing by a derivatives clearing organization. Proposed regulations would also require coordination between derivatives clearing organizations and swap execution facilities or designated contract markets in developing rules and procedures to facilitate clearing. A derivatives clearing organization, upon customer request, would also be required to transfer customer positions and related funds from one clearing member of the derivatives clearing organization to another, without requiring the close-out and re-booking of the positions. | |
