Title: Options To Address Crib Safety Hazards 
Abstract: Section 104(b)(1)(A) requires the Commission to consult with representatives of consumer groups, juvenile product manufacturers, and independent child product engineers and experts to examine and assess the effectiveness of any voluntary consumer product safety standards for full size and non-full size cribs. An Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) that would start the process was published in the Federal Register on November 25, 2008. On July 14, 2010, the Commission voted to approve publication of a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) in the Federal Register. The NPRM was published in the Federal Regiser on July 23, 2010, and the comment period closes October 6, 2010.
