| Abstract: Section 102 of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA), Public Law 110-314, 122 Stat. 3016 (August 14, 2008), directs the Commission to publish notice of requirements for accreditation of third party conformity assessment bodies (laboratories) to assess conformity with the standard for infant walkers. The Commission initiated rulemaking to establish the requirements that third party conformity assessment bodies must meet for Commission acceptance of accreditation for testing pursuant to 16 CFR part 1216, Safety Standard for Infant Walkers. | |
