Title: Implementation of OMB Guidance on Drug-Free Workplace Requirements  
Abstract: This rulemaking implements OMB’s initiative to streamline and consolidate into Title 2 of the CFR all Federal regulations on drug-free workplace requirements for financial assistance. The initiative requires agencies to remove their drug-free workplace regulation and adopt the 2 CFR part 182 workplace guidance in its place.

Overall Description of Deadline: Under 2 CFR part 182 published as final guidance in the Federal Register on 06/15/2009, OMB established an 18 month deadline from the date of publication of that part for Federal agencies to issue final regulations that remove their drug-free workplace regulation and adopt the 2 CFR part 182 drug-free workplace guidance in its place.
