| Title: Establishment of Rules for Digital Low-Power Television, Television Translator, and Television Booster Stations (MB Docket No. 03-185) | |
|
Abstract:
This proceeding initiated the digital television conversion for low-power television (LPTV) and television translator stations. The rules and policies adopted as a result of this proceeding provide the framework for these stations' conversion from analog to digital broadcasting. The revised rules reflect an effort to simplify, streamline, and modernize existing rules and procedures that will enable stations to comply with licensing requirements more easily through familiar and low-cost measures.
