| Abstract: International Fixed Public Radiocommunication Services (IFPRS) is fixed wireless service between the United Sates and foreign points. Currently, this service is offered primarily for communication between Puerto Rico and Caribbean countries. In the NPRM, the Commission proposed to eliminate part 23, which contains procedural and technical rules IFPRS, because there were no licensees providing this service. The Report and Order eliminated part 23 and the allocation for IFPRS in the Table of Frequency Allocations. | |
