Abstract:

The FCC is seeking comment on a fresh approach for facilitating the deployment of modern fixed wireless infrastructure by modernizing the Commission's rule for over-the-air reception devices (OTARD).  The OTARD rule prohibits state or local governments or private entities to impose rules that impair the ability of antenna users to install, maintain, or use over-the-air reception devices.
