Title: Procedures for Implementation of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969  
Abstract:

By early 2026, the Commission plans to comply with Executive Order 14154, Unleashing American Energy, and subsequent implementing guidance by the White House’s Council on Environmental Quality and take action relating to the Commission’s current NEPA rules to expedite permitting approvals and for consistency with NEPA as amended by the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023.
