Title: Federal Property Management Regulations (FPMR); FPMR Case 2003-101-1; Federal Management Regulation (FMR) Case 2003-102-4; Disposition of Personal Property With Special Handling Requirements
Abstract:

The General Services Administration is revising coverage of the disposition of personal property with special handling requirements and moving it into the Federal Management Regulation (FMR). A cross-reference is added to the Federal Property Management Regulations (FPMR) to direct readers to the coverage in the FMR. The FMR is the successor regulation to the FPMR. It contains updated regulatory policies originally found in the FPMR. All policy is being migrated from the FPMR to the FMR because the FMR coverage is written in plain language to provide agencies with updated regulatory material that is easy to read and understand. This case is included in GSA's retrospective review of existing regulations under Executive Order 13563. Additional information is located in GSA's retrospective review (2014), available at: www.gsa.gov/improvingregulations.
