Title: General Services Administration Acquisition Regulation; GSAR Case 2006-G508, Rewrite of Part 570, Acquiring Leasehold Interests in Real Property 
Abstract: The General Services Administration (GSA) is amending the General Services Administration Acquisition Regulation (GSAR) to revise sections of GSAR part 570 that provide requirements for acquiring leasehold interests in real property. GSA is amending this part to update regulatory provisions that are applicable to lease transactions; to provide sustainability guidance on implementing Executive Order 13514 and Guiding Principles for Federal Leadership in High Performance and Sustainable Buildings; to delete the dollar value of the simplified lease acquisition threshold and instead reference Federal Acquisition Regulation 2.101 for information about the threshold; and to clarify the meaning and improve the readability of this part.
