The General Services Administration is proposing to amend the rule to clarify nomenclature; reflect current best practices for security in federal space; refer to current laws, executive orders, and regulations that apply to the subject matter; clarify the responsibilities of agencies for maintaining security standards in federally owned and leased facilities; and reorganize the subparts for better readability and clarity.
