Title: National Historical Publications and Records Commission 
Abstract: The National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC), National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), is proposing to amend part 1206. This proposed amendment to part 1206 adjusts the order and format of the definitions section for consistency with other NARA regulations, and makes minor typographical changes for clarity and consistency. We are removing individual eligibility for NHPRC grants, changing the time for posting of grant opportunity announcements from 4 to 3 months, and reflecting the new Office of Management and Budget (OMB) requirement to use Standard Form 425, Federal Financial Report, as well as the movement of certain OMB Circulars to 2 CFR. These actions are necessary updates to our business processes and are intended to allow us greater flexibility to respond to changing needs and a simplified financial reporting form and process.
